Centro mi atención en los cerros orientales, el elemento del paisaje más importante de la ciudad de Bogotá, con el paso de los años los barrios circundantes a estas montañas han elevado su costo vida, estar cerca se ha convertido en un privilegio, un producto en el que los apartamentos y su gran vista se presume y se vende, estar cerca de la naturaleza nunca ha sido más excluyente. Estos lugares permanecen vacíos por largos periodos debido a sus precios elevados y constituyen un testimonio del estancamiento que estamos viviendo como especie, su vista nos recuerda esa naturaleza que sigue su curso, que poseemos desde la ventana, pero en la cual no podemos poner ni un pie, son evidencia de la inequidad social en que vivimos y generan una sensación de privilegio absurdo e inalcanzable.

I draw my attention to the eastern hills, the most important landscape element of the city of Bogotá, over the years the neighborhoods surrounding these mountains have raised their cost of living, being close has become a privilege, a product in which the apartments and its great view is presumed and sold, giving you the chance to see the others from above, being close to nature has never been more exclusive. These places that remain empty for long periods due to their high prices are a testimony to the stagnation that we are experiencing, their view reminds us of that nature that follows its course, that we have from the window, but in which we cannot set foot, they are evidence of the social inequity in which we live and generate a feeling of unattainable privilege.
