We start from the interest in a place of great presence in the Bogota imaginary, a remote place that is part of the historic center, hidden from most citizens, who only imagine it and comment in the distance, where today few are those who venture to go and navigate deep in their tracks and their stories. He state of those constructions that are still standing, suggest a narrative, this one it tells us about a transformation of the urban space, of a historical deterioration and of an architectural amalgam that corresponds to times and events. After touring the sector for several days, we made a selection of these structures according to its continuity in time, emphasizing its colonial and republican beginnings to then become a mixture and finally give way to the contemporary.
We use photography as the language of uncertainty, to invite the viewer to question and reinvent the proceeding of these constructions and their value architectural, through the assembly you get to the essence of the structural, although minimal elements that allude to that discordant and chaotic place last. The environment of these buildings was replaced by one dreamy and floating, to emphasize our vision of the Bronx as isolated and unreal.
